The Mini-GEM is a portable German Equatorial Mount (GEM) that comes with a range of accessories that make it ideal for service with a range of today's small telescopes ranging from solar scopes (eg Coronado PST) and wide-field refractors and as a mount for astronomy capable spotting scopes.

Includes:

1. Full height 2-section steel field tripod.

2. 300mm aluminium dovetail bar with detachable small scope and camera platform.

3. 2x solid aluminium slow-motion control knobs (RA & Dec)

4. Rapid Polar alignment aid (dovetail sight see lowermost picture)

Fully upgradeable with the following:

An RA electronic motor drive (to automatically compensate for the Earth's rotation) See Recommended accessories below left.

Table-top A frame: this steel frame allows the Mini-GEM to be used on table-tops or on the ground and is an ideal when using the Mini-Gem for astrophotography (especially when travelling abroad and wishing to carry the minimum amount of kit.
