The Mini-GEM table-top version is a portable German Equatorial Mount (GEM) that comes with a range of accessories that make it ideal for service with a range of today's small telescopes ranging from solar scopes (eg Coronado PST) and wide-field refractors and as a mount for astronomy capable spotting scopes. Includes: 1. Table-top A frame - rigid one piece steel construction with self-leveling feet. 2. 300mm aluminium dovetail bar with detachable small scope and camera platform. 3. 2x solid aluminium slow-motion control knobs (RA & Dec) 4. Rapid Polar alignment aid (dovetail sight see lowermost picture) Fully upgradeable with the following: An RA electronic motor drive (to automatically compensate for the Earth's rotation) See Recommended accessories below left.
