The aluminium bar is 160mm long x 40mm wide x 6mm thick.

There are 6 holes in the bar - the two holes in the centre are tapped to 1/4" and 3/8" Whitworth thread to allow the bar to be attached to standard and professional camera tripods. The four remaining holes are 7mm diameter unthreaded (two at each end 17mm centre to centre) offer a number of hole spacing permutations: 85mm apart,102.5mm apart,and 120mm apart (all spacings given are centre to centre of the holes).

The bar is manufactured from aluminium and is finished as self-colour.
