The 2.1 metre observatory is now supplied sectional, for self assembly. This system eliminates any access problems as encountered from time to time, and will enable the customer to easily dismantle the structure for re-location.

Self assembly is straightforward, and will take 2 persons approx 2-3 hours to complete. Alternatively, Pulsar can provide a full installation service for just £235.

For extra comfort and convenience the Pulsar (Optical) Observatory Domes are manufactured provide a high quality, practical housing for your telescope.

The dome rotates on the base using 8 rollers, with side 8 thrust rollers and brackets that keep the dome in position, and prevent removal. The aperture lid is a simple roll off design. The small number of components make the observatory easy to use and completely maintenance free and weatherproof. Suitable for telescopes up to 12inch Aperture.

Customer Requirements: The customer will need to provide a level concrete base to ensure secure fixing and dome operation.

We can also supply a steel pier, that will complete the permanent installation of your telescope, giving you more space within the dome than your existing tripod. The pier can be delivered and installed with your observatory, if ordered together. Various upgrades and accessories are currently being developed and details will appear on our website soon.
