Close focus: Ideal for garden birdwatching

Binoculars are not only designed for distant viewing. The Mini-zoom's close focus is less than 3m making it ideal for garden bird spotting. Just place your feeder or bird table within 3m of a good window and be amazed at the beautiful feather detail you will see in this superb little binocular.

Pop-down rubber eyecups

The MiniMax binocular features clever pop-down and pop-up soft rubber eyecups that allow the eyecups to be raised or lowered with a single touch (see picture). This makes the bino perfect for users with and without eye-glasses and particularly well suited for shared use.

These super compact porro prism binoculars offer a wide zoom range from a moderately high 10x to an very powerful 40x magnification! Normally, holding a binocular of over 16x magnification can be a challenge, these MiniMax-zooms are so light we had good viewing even at 20 to 25x without any form of support (resting elbows, leaning on wall etc). Beyond 25x we needed to rest at least one elbow on a window sill or door jam.

Extra light-weight and excellent Bak4 optical performance make this powerful optical instrument great for hiking and trekking. The zoom function (see picture) is a simple finger or thumb slider that moves smoothly from 10x to 40x (with all magnifications in between of course). The top quality optics are Bak4 glass throughout with full anti-reflection coatings on all optics.
