Baader H-alpha Pass Filter (656nm). The relatively wide bandwidth of Baaders new H-Alpha filter makes it ideal for high contrast imaging of H-II regions.

This is a 2" filter, threaded for 48mm metric threads. With a bandwidth of 45 nanometers, this filter is ideal for isolating H-II regions for excellent contrast in RGB CCD images. The wider bandwidth allows for more light through, while still enhancing the contrast of nebular features. Perfect for minimizing unwanted glow from light polluted skies in the red channel.

The 2" filter size allows unvignetted imaging with large format CCD Cameras.
