The LXD55 and LXD75s are great telescopes, but we have found one or two small points that could be improved. This replacement dovetail plate is precision CNC machined out of solid aluminium to provide a more durable support for the mounting rings fitted to the 8" and 10" SNT. These heavier telescopes benefit from the more rigid support offered by a solid rather than cast dovetail plate.
