A useful medium sized dovetail mounting block with camera mounting platform for attaching a wide range of cameras and instruments to most standard equatorial mountings of the EQ2 to EQ-6 etc type. The has four mounting holes (2x 7mm dia 75mm apart recessed to hide the screw head 1x 1/4" and 1x 3/8" Whitworth 40mm apart).

Camera platform features a retained thumb knob with three mounting positions. 2x threaded 20mm apart and 1x 25mm slot (the centre of the slot is 48mm from the centre of first hole and 28mm from the second hole)

The sloping sides of the dovetail have a centrally placed anti-slip recess to make sure that the block remains safely in place even if the lock screw loosens (eg, in low temperatures).
