The Parallel Rail guide-scope ring mounting system allows small telescopes and camera lenses to be piggy-back mounted on top of all Meade® LX-series telescopes including all models from 7 inch Mak to 16" LX200/GPS SCT. Versions for all fork mounted SCTs as well as OTAs are available - see below.

Please note that the AE rail mounting system is expertly designed and fits to the telescope tube with CNC manufactured mounting brackets and each bracket attaches to the tube using two socket-cap fasteners. Some poorly designed products use a single screw fitting (done for cheapness and yet sadly for the purchasers, they aren't even that cheap!) allowing flexture of the guide-scope system that will condemn the user to "mysteriously" poor results there after. It's simple really, pay less: get less.

The included high precision CNC manufactured mounting rings (not just slices of aluminium gas-pipe like competitor products!) are 125mm ID (5"). The rings slide and lock anywhere on the rigid twin hexagonal rails. The rings are each equipped with three adjustment screws each with Delrin (acetyl plastic) tips to grip the guide-scope without marring the paint finish.

Manufactured entirely from aluminium, the lightweight system is easily attached and comes with all fastenings, fitting tool and instructions.
