The AC607 Ultra-T is similar in construction to the popular PH047 and has the same ultra lightweight construction and does everything the PH047 does but also offers the added benefit of a female T-mount thread. This allows the AC607 to be used in conjunction with AE's AC530 and other T mount accessories.

Additional T-thread connectivity

The AC607 allows you to mount almost any camera on to any astro-telescope with a 1.25" eyepiece holder or male T-thread and take pictures through the instrument's eyepiece.

The Ultra-T does not use your camera's filter ring, instead the tripod socket carries the camera's weight, just as the camera manufacturer intended.
