What is light pollution?
Light Pollution is destroying the night skies over Britain; blotting out and spoiling our views of the stars and the Milky Way. Lighting the sky is an utter waste of energy and it robs people of the beauty of the stars. And yet the folk who "talk" big about their concern for the environment from church leaders to city councils are some of the worse offenders.
